From the moment Fred & Val arrived at the house, they were determined to use its beautiful and spacious location to the best possible ends. In the early days before the theatre they hosted several garden parties in aid of animal charities; with the coming of the theatre it promised shelter during any unexpected bad weather, so ‘posh’ do’s could be held in the grounds safe in the knowledge that a safe haven was close at hand if need be.
We also hosted wedding receptions, Little Tew’s Millennium Party and other exotica. And for all these, no charge was made other than to cover expenses. A truly noble use of a noble house.
